R.M. Audio Profile

R.M. Audio was established in Melbourne in 1993, and originally traded under the name Altec Lansing Australia Pty. Ltd. distributing the Altec Lansing range of home and car audio products from a modest warehouse facility in Prahran.

The name later changed to R.M. Audio (Aust.) Pty. Ltd. to reflect the expanding range of brands the company was representing.

In 1996 R.M, Audio commenced Australian distribution of the Elettromedia (Italy) brands Audison and Audison Cable.

In 1999 we further expanded our brands with the acquisition of the Australian distribution rights for Morel Car Audio & Home audio products

 In 2008 year R.M. Audio celebrated 15 years as a distributor of hi-end consumer products and being one of the industries fastest growing specialist audio distributors, a fact confirmed when at the annual CES distributors dinner held in Las Vegas, USA, Morel named R.M. Audio as the 2008 Asia Pacific Distributor of the Year.
